PURPOSE : TO PROVIDE STRATEGIC DIRECTION AND OVERSEE THE IMPLEMENTATION OF SPORT , ARTS AND CULTURE PROGRAMMES IN THE DEPARTMENT

Functions

• Manage and facilitate the provision of corporate management services                                      
• Manage and facilitate the provision of financial management services                                      
• Manage and facilitate the provision of arts and culture, museums and heritage resources.                                        
• Manage and oversee the provision of library, archives and infrastructure delivery management services                                   
• Manage and facilitate the provision of sport and recreation services                                      
• Manage and coordinate the provision of District Coordination Services and EPWP                              
• Manage and oversee the provision of  executive support and entity oversight and interface                               
• Manage and facilitate the  provision of donor coordination and stakeholder relations                                 
• Manage and faciliate the provision of risk, anti-corruption and integrity management
